So what is it that makes the film so special?
I think its because it challanges the conventions of normal films as you dont normaly see a homersexual relationshipin a love film. It's always hetrosexual relationships with the perfect romand and the perfect life style.
What did you enjoy about the short film?
I enjoyed relating their life style to my own due to it been placed in a college; were I go to. It makes me relaise that there are different individuals wwherever you go and everyone is unique. It's not wrong to be with someone of the same sex. You can't help who you fall in love with and it is now seen as 'normal'.
Do you normaly watch romantic films?
I like a range of film genres but I do particularly like romantic films, so I suppose this is a good film for me as I enjoy watching the love form between two people.
So do you prefer short films to full length films?
Yeah, I think they are more appealing as you don't get bored. Some films take ages before you get to find out the plot. I think Short Films keep me entertained as I always know what's going on and I can watch a lot more. I also get to watch them when I have a small amount of free time.
What did you think of the acting in the film?
The acting was relaxed and real. I can relate the acting to my normal life as it is how i would communicate with my friends.
Did it leave you wanting to see more or a second film to corespond to it?
Definatly! I felt like I wanted to see how the charactyers 'Lilly' and 'Jo' acted around each other and how they lived their 'perfecrt' life together.
Would you recommend 'Love Notes' to friends and family?
Yeh, I think they will enjoy it as much as I have. I think old and young peopel will enjoy it so i can recomend it to people of any age.
So, What is your overall thought on the film?
I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh and It made me happy. It made me aspire to have a lloving relationship and I will definatly be watching it a few more times with friends and family.
Golden Productions
From the producers...
What gave you the inspiration to challenge normal conventions?
We have friends that have different relationships, talking to them you see strogn views on the matter. We thought it would be a surprise to the audience therfor would be interesting. We also think that issues such asa these should be brought up in society, so more people are aware that it is completly normal.
Who was the short film aimed at?
We think it can suit anyone of any age, however we think girls will understand the issues more and will enjoy the genre of the film more.
What made you decide to make a short film, rather that a traditional long film?
We have been making short films for a long time and enjoy doing it. We think that short film are far more interesting and get the point accross quicker.
Here I some photos I have taken when out doing the first and second scenes of the film. These were to use on my film article/ double page spread and my film poster. I used a range of camera angles such as medium shot, long shot and high angle view; so i could get a range of photos and choose the best when making the ancillary tasks
Sunday, 6 March 2011
To keep a stlye through the 3 tasks set including my 2 ancillary tasks (article and film poster) I will keep a theme and a house style.
I will use use light pink, black and purple throughout my film poster and article. I have chosen these colours as they represent a girl which is the target audience and it represents romance (The film genre) The black is a simple colour which will be easy to read for the audience. The pink and purple and used for small parts of the ancilarry tasks to represent love and femlaes.
ANIMATED SCENE
In our film we decided to make one of the scenes animated. This will then give the film so character and make it look more interestign to the audience.
We really like the film 'Juno' and wanted to create something as appealing as the title sequence in this film.
We think this will be a talking point of the film.
To do this we are going to take print screens of the film and edit them on photoshop, then put the images together on final cut.
We need to ake sure that all the film linkes together, to do this and, also make the film more interestign we are also going to have some music and a voice over.
VOICE OVER
The voice over will be 'Lilly's' thoughts in her head so we get an insight to how she feels.
I feel this will create emotion in the audience.
TEXT
In the first and last scene you see 'Jo' writing in her note book. To extend this into the film and make it all tie together we are goign to write her thoughts along the bottom of the video as if it is what she is continuing writign in her notebook.
CREDITS
We will show brief credits to show who made the film and any other information.
MUSIC
The music needs to be sweet and simple and represent a cute relastionship.
Possibley a flute or soft piano.

I have created a story board to show how the film will look. To make it more interesting we have done it on sticky notes and then made it a video on final cut with a soundtrack from garage band.
All this practice and developmental work helps me to familiarise my self with digital technology that i will be using in my film so i can successfully make it.
